Do you offer sliding scale rates?
The Australian Psychology Society has set the current rate for individual Psychology sessions at $267 (45 - 60 min) . We offer individual sessions for $230 ( 55 min) and couples session for $260 per session. The initial session is 90 min at $295.
Concessions are available if a valid concession card is provided.
Do you provide rebates?
MEDICARE
As a Psychologist I have obtained a Medicare provider number, enabling my clients to receive a Medicare rebate of $98.95 per session, for 10 sessions per year. These rebates are processed at AH Psychology Northern Beaches if you provide a valid Mental health Care plan from your GP.

PRIVATE HEALTH
Private Healthcare rebates are not processed by us. However, we provide the Invoice for you to make a claim with your Private Insurer.
What therapies do you use
I prefer an integrative approach, in order to tailor therapy to my clients needs because every individual is different.
Psycho-education will be provided to explain neurological processes.
Strengths based/person centered counselling will be used to support clients.
CBT/ Acceptance and Committment Therapy (ACT) as well as Schema Therapy can accommodate understanding and promote change.
Some clients prefer a more conversational style, whilst others are focused on goal setting. Let's work together to create healing and growth.
