
About Therapy
Therapy is guided by your needs. We will explore reasons that motivated you to seek help and I will take a comprehensive history. It is important for us, to work collaboratively as a team. We might identify the 3 P's (precipitating, perpetuating and protective factors) and develop a toolbox of helpful strategies. I prefer an integrative approach using DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) Schema Therapy and person centered counselling. The sessions will be largely tailored to you personally, as every client is on a different journey based on their own experiences, expectations, problems and goals.
Booking a session may seem daunting but you will also feel better once you have made the first step on your journey towards growth and development.
